Consignment FAQ – Selling Your Wedding Dress

Q: What is consignment?

A: Consignment means you let us sell your wedding dress for you. Once it sells, you receive a percentage of the sale, and we take a small commission for our services.

Q: How much do I earn from the sale?

A: You keep 60% of the final sale price. Forget Me Not Bridal Boutique takes a 40% commission to cover marketing, appointments, and handling the sale.

Q: How is the selling price decided?

A: We’ll work with you to agree on a fair and realistic price for your dress based on style, condition, original retail value, and market trends.

Q: How long is the consignment agreement?

A: The agreement lasts for 6 months. This gives us time to showcase your dress to potential brides and find the right match.

Q: What happens if my dress doesn’t sell in 6 months?

A: If it doesn’t sell by the end of the agreement, you can either extend the consignment period or pick your dress up—totally your choice.

Q: What does Forget Me Not Bridal Boutique do to sell my dress?

A: We handle everything—photography, listing, marketing, inquiries, appointments, and fittings. All you need to do is drop off the dress!

Q: How do I get started?

A: Just contact us to set up a quick consultation! We’ll discuss your dress, set a price, and go over the consignment agreement.
